Released by ModelingTech Energy Technology, StarSim MLC Solver is a modeling and simulation software that enables users to conduct real-time simulation of three multilevel converter applications (cascaded SVG, high-voltage direct-connected energy storage, and MMC) on FPGA with 1μs or 2μs simulation time steps. It needs to work in coordination with software including StarSim FPGA Circuit Solver (LC Solver) and StarSim HIL.

    It performs real-time simulation of three multilevel converter models (cascaded SVG, high-voltage direct-connected energy storage, half-bridge & full-bridge MMC) on FPGA with tiny time steps of 1 μs or 2 μs, featuring ultra-low latency and high precision.

  • No FPGA Programming Required for Conversion Between Different Fiber Protocols

    It realizes low-latency closed-loop testing between multilevel devices and physical controllers, ensuring real-time performance and data synchronization accuracy for complex system simulation.

  • Supports Concurrent Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing of New Energy and Multilevel Application Models

    It delivers the capability to run new energy and multilevel application models in the loop simultaneously, suitable for research and testing of scenarios combining new energy power stations with SVG, HVPCS and MMC.
